En obligatorisk del af F-ACT-modellen er også ansættelsen af recovery-mentorer i alle teams. Modellen benævnes F-ACT, som står for Fleksibel Assertive Community Treatment og betyder direkte oversat til dansk: Fleksibel udgående og opsøgende behandling i nærmiljø.

Gruppen anbefalede F-ACT-modellen, og man besluttede at afprøve den på de psykiatriske centre i henholdsvis Frederikssund og Københavns Nordvestkvarter. Siden er ventelisten til den særlige intensive indsats (at komme på tavlen) , og på baggrund af solide, positive erfaringer fra patienter, pårørende, samarbejdspartnere, ledelse og personalet, blev modellen i maj 2018 gjort permanent de to steder.
